authenticate Quakenet
Authen is the shortcut for Authenticate, what means rough: "identitfy to the server". Yes! Like all the other, this is done quick and simple, too. If you want to authenticate Quakenet, you must follow the following 4 steps:
1. your nick may not contain special characters, like [ $%()= 2. In the Quakenet window type:
/msg Q hello your@email
Confirm your entry with enter. 3. Shortly you will receive an eMail from Q. 4. the eMail contains some text like this: Login: IrGend3inW0rT Password: pw and the demand: To auth yourself to Q, type the following command
/MSG Q@CServe.quakenet.org AUTH IrGend3inW0rT pw You should enter this command to your Perform, if you want an automatically authentication, otherwise you have to enter this row by hand, at every start of mIRC. That's all
